El Nopal started as a weekend taco cart on 18th Street. Today we still cook the same way — masa pressed by hand, carnitas simmered low and slow, and salsa roja toasted on the stovetop each day.

Pull up a stool, grab a horchata, and stay a while. There's always room at our table.
